RolloSONIC is the embodiment of an idea, that idea being a program that utilizes mouse movement as the primary source of control data to be used in the guiding of sound synthesis.

As with most programs, it has evolved into being able to do many other things in addition to using mouse movement to guide synthesis, but the purpose has not been forgot.

RolloSONIC began in September of 2001, originally called "Sounds". This program was nothing too special, but the idea had been realized.

RolloSONIC is currently developed in California, USA.
